How do I determine if my pool equipment is compatible with VS Omni?
If you are constructing or renovating a pool with more than a pump, heater, light and one additional feature, OmniLogic or another Hayward automation product might be a better automation solution. If you are looking to integrate smart pool control with built-in salt chlorination, AquaPlus or OmniLogic provide excellent solutions.
Can I control my salt chlorine generator with VS Omni?
You can control the on/off of a salt chlorinator with a VS Omni Smart Relay, but cannot control the chlorine percentages with VS Omni.
Will VS Omni work with other brands of pool equipment?
VS Omni is fully compatible with the majority of heaters, lights and secondary pumps (such as booster pumps) on the market. This makes it easily installed on existing pools. Please check with your pool pro to confirm if your equipment is compatible.
